One Way to Paradise

One Way to Paradise is a short adventure for When Sky & Sea Were Not Named, a tabletop RPG inspired by ancient Phoenician mythology. It's designed to introduce the system and setting for new players with a mix of swashbuckling action, exploration, and mystery.

The adventure starts on a skyship threatened by a terrible storm and takes heroes to a strange floating island hovering deep within the storm's eye. You’ll shout things like “Stand fast!”, “Reef the sail!” and “Batten down the hatches!” and face deluge, demons, and the dark history of the Skysea. 

The adventure also introduces the second edition of When Sky & Sea Were Not Named—a new, streamlined set of rules that are easier to learn and faster to play. It includes a short Rulebook and four premade heroes, and it’s structured to walk everyone through the rules as you go—no need to prep!  

You can run the whole thing as a one-shot or extend it over several sessions. The Adventure Guide is detailed, adaptable, and encourages player freedom.
